A ten minute Horse Stance practice, beginning with a gentle warm up. Horse stance, or Zhan Zhuang, looks simple on the surface, but as discussed in "live" Qi Chat # 29, there's a lot happening within this practice. Horse stance strengthens the physical body and calms the nervous system while naturally balancing the Qi. This includes strengthening deficient Qi, clearing stagnant Qi, and harmonizing flow throughout the internal organs, soft tissue, meridians and collaterals. *If you feel the need to relax your arms, bring them down to the Dan Tian and return them to Horse stance position when you feel ready. The "live" Qi chat where Horse Stance was discussed in great detail, can be found here: https://qigongforvitality.vhx.tv/videos/aug-qi-chat-zhan-zhaung-horse-stance-90-mins.
