In this video, we explore practical and supportive ways to modify your Qigong practice - especially if you have limited mobility, recovering from an injury, or simply having a day where standing just doesn’t feel right.
Here we discuss:
Use a chair to safely strengthen your legs with "chair dan yu" (chair squats)
Support healthy hips and knees with seated leg extensions and gentle "windshield wipers"
Bring energy and calm with primordial breathing from any position
March in place or try "cloud walking" to keep the body moving without strain
Apply the 70% rule to stay within your comfort zone while still making progress
