The 18 Forms, or Shibashi, is a popular Qigong form practiced by millions of people around the world. Based on the gentle movements of Yang style Tai Chi, professor Lin Hou Sheng compiled 18 movements to create this routine that is ideal for daily practice to maintain good Qi circulation and a strong body. There are many interpretations of the 18 Forms (also called Movements or Postures depending on the "goal" of practice). In this version, the goal of the practice is to create good circulation throughout the body, and invigorate back and core muscles giving you strength and stability throughout your day. Follow along as Jeff takes you through one of the many variations of Shibashi by the ocean on a warm Spring evening. Feel your Qi move smoothly!
