Imagine a tree blowing in the wind. If the tree has strong roots, it will be stable. When the wind stops, the tree stops moving and “returns to centre.” The idea is to build up your skill to come back to centre. This allows you to weather life’s storms and return to your own solid ground. Movements stimulate all meridians, internal organs, soft tissue, and major muscle groups. This routine contains moments of “pause” between exercises for you to come back to ready position and return to centre. A return to “you,” a time for reflection and grounding. See the “Introduction to Return to Centre Routine” where Jeff explains the concept for this practice: https://qigongforvitality.vhx.tv/qigong-routine-introductions/videos/intro-to-return-to-centre-routine-3-mins
