Balance and harmonize the Liver and Wood element!
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Liver is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of Qi throughout the body. When we feel stressed, have muscle tension, or emotional strain, the Qi can become stagnant, leading to feelings of tightness, irritability, or internal pressure.
The Wood element is closely associated with the Liver system which is most active in the spring season and during times of increased activity output and Yang energy.
When life becomes busy and when we aren't resting enough, the liver and wood element is especially prone to imbalance.
This practice is designed to restore smooth Qi movement within the Liver system, helping to release tension in both the body and mind. It is particularly supportive when you are feeling overextended or carrying accumulated stress.
The routine repeats Lifting the Qi, an exercise used to clear stagnation and encourage gentle, peaceful flow of Qi.
