The topic for this month is:
Qigong for the Brain and Mind ~ Let's Practice! 🪷
Have you ever walked into a room and forgotten what you were going to do?
Or had trouble recalling details of a memory?
Or felt like your mind isn’t as sharp as you know it can be?
Qigong can help 🙂
Qigong has been used for centuries to support the mind, brain health, intelligence, intuition, and wisdom in a variety of ways.
Training the mind is a big part of Qigong practice.
We have many channels of Qi that circulate throughout the body, supporting all of its functions.
One of these functions is our mind and mental activity.
In Qigong, this is often related to our Upper Heaven and the area known as the Bai Hui.
In this Qi Chat, we will discuss:
- the brain, mind, and Shen from a Qigong perspective
- some of the reasons behind reduced mental function
- simple ways to support brain health, including practical exercises you can do at home
- an interesting healing practice for the brain (and anywhere else in the body)
- how to use Qigong to support neuroplasticity, circulation, and long-term cognitive health
