A recording of the "live" Qi Chat from March 2024 on "Pericardium - Protect the Heart.” Throughout 2024, we will be taking a journey through the 12 meridians and systems during our monthly Qi Chats! Each month we will focus on one meridian. *The routines we will practice will be from the Full Body Flow series – so you can even practice ahead of time if you like (but you certainly don’t have to!) Just show up and we’ll learn and practice it together!
In this Qi Chat, we will focus on the Pericardium meridian. The Pericardium is a lesser-known meridian that energetically protects the heart and supports the Shen. We will discuss some of the main functions according to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and explore Qigong concepts that can support it. You will discover how the Pericardium connects to the concept of ‘personal boundaries’ then learn and practice the “Protect the Heart” routine together! The routine we practiced together in this Chat can be found on its own here: https://qigongforvitality.vhx.tv/videos/protect-the-heart It’s a useful routine to help build energetic and emotional resilience especially for highly sensitive people. 🙂
